About this Report
In keeping with the theme of integrating business activities, this Report contains a new section on Investa's Group Approach to sustainability. This section outlines how our approach has evolved over the past five years and suggests how it will continue to evolve into a sophisticated approach to multiplying value across the Group.
The Group Approach is followed by the Highlights section which gives an overview of our performance over the last year. It gives a concise summary across the Group and across major sustainability issues.
The fundamentals of ecological sustainability are about reducing resource use (energy, water, materials, pollution and waste) and improving relationships between people (in our case, particularly our relationships with employees, suppliers and the broader community). This report is structured around both of these areas and the intersecting social, environmental and economic dimensions.
For each of these specific sections we outline the context ('market considerations') in which Investa operates and our approach to responding to this context either as a whole or by business unit.
We encourage you to read the Group approach and the highlights for a synopsis of this report. Of course, we also encourage you to read any specific section which interests you and to browse the report as a whole. Please let us know what you think of this report using the feedback form.
