Productivity and Amenity
We commissioned independent analysis of our ongoing indoor environment quality (IEQ) monitoring data and established that, when applied to established productivity models from overseas, our office buildings are providing substantially higher than average productivity conditions for occupants. These findings will be subjected to further analysis and testing before being formally disclosed.
Suppliers and Contractors
We observed a significant increase in the quality of safety and environmental documentation supporting applications for preferred supplier status during the year. There was a drop in the number of applications processed reflecting a growing preference for suppliers already on the list. We consider this to be a positive sign.
Community Engagement
Investa was one of the top 30 fundraisers for the 'World's Greatest Shave' raising $30,437 in support of the Leukaemia Foundation.
Charitable contributions in the last financial year were: $119,679. In-kind giving through employees volunteering during paid working hours was approximately $7,300.
In partnership with the Commonwealth Government and all State Governments where Clarendon operates, we developed the 'Your Home Buyer's Guide' to help educate the project home market about sustainability. The Guide aims to increase awareness of the benefits of sustainable housing at point of sale and to encourage sustainable choices in house design, features and finishes that will improve the sustainability of people's homes and lifestyles. The Guide will be officially launched shortly.
